RockStar Nails For PAA on FaceBook

Awhile ago I joined a group on FaceBook called Polish-aholics Anonymous, a place where people gather to talk about nail polish, share ideas, show each other what their doing with their nails, ect...

This is on of the groups that made me to decide to start my blog :)

Anyway, every week they give us a theme of what to do for our nails on Monday.

This week's theme was rock star inspired nails.

Since I'm not a fan of rock, I don't have the slightest idea of what to do, so I took this challenge a bit more literally...

This is the first "Rock Star" to come to my mind...

Any one who pays attention to my blog will now realize that half of the pictures I take look like this :

You see, I have a slight addiction to Rock Star energy drinks...

By slight addiction I mean I drink one everyday as soon as I wake up....

So this seemed very appropriate for me :)

Let's begin !

I started with 1 coat of Orly Royal Navy (Should have used 2)

& 1 coat of Nicole by OPI You're S-Teal The One

Then drew diagonal stripes with Orly Sweet Peacock 

The same thing going the other way

Then I used Revlon's Punk to draw a big star

Then outlined it with Orly Lunar Eclipse

Draw the little r symbols in, and you're done !!!

Ta-da !!!!!

So yeah, this is my interpretation of Rock Star nails :p

I'm sure we've all seen this every where, but I'm really impressed by it. 

This is two coats over a fake white nail, it will not show up like this on you, the base is transparent :)

Gorgeous squishy pink with a little coral to it.

Again this is two coats over a white nail, it isn't a cream. I think they called these sorbets or something close to that. It's gonna look soooo pretty and shiny !!!

It really shattered perfectly <3

It's amazing, and proceeds go to finding a cure :)

Haunted Dusk :Fail:

Last night I wanted to paint what I saw in my head onto my nails

However...

Yeah right...LOL

I was trying to make a scene out of an eerie movie, when the sky looks a bit dingy and green through the woods..

It started out alright, some sponging, a moon, some stars...

Then I wanted more in the back ground...

 So I stamped...

 Drew some trees....

 Tried to add dimension...

Then I waited over night for it to dry, and matted it out this morning....

FAIL

How did it smudge after 8+ hours of drying ????

:(

I tried being creative, from now on I'll leave it to the ladies with skills ;)

Revlon Edgy Elegance : Fierce and Punk : Pic Heavy

And Spiders....

Today I'm going to show you what I consider a fail.

It's not horrible, I'm just not in love.

This is what I ended with last night

It all started like this...

I wanted to do my nails, but had no idea what to do with them..

So I decided to use the new Revlon Fierce from The Edgy Elegance.

It's a super gorgeous color, but I didn't like it on me.

So this started happening...

I sponged Punk on top

At first I was like "Cool  !" About 2 minutes later it was back to not liking it...

So that's where the spiders come in...

How could I not like something that has spiders ???

 You can see Sweet Peacock shining from my toes :)

And that's how this story goes :)

The first picture is while it was still wet and shiny.

The second shows how it dries to a suede finish.

A gorgeousss shimmering forest/emerald green.

I have some ideas for these colors, and hopefully will get around to that tonight :)
